Create an End-Customer (Company)

Setting up your customer profiles correctly ensures smoother approvals, faster invoicing, and cleaner reporting. Without a company record, you can’t create service orders, estimates, or invoices.

Quick Summary (TL;DR)

  1. Go to Company → Companies.
  2. Click Add New Company.
  3. Enter company name and select Is Enterprise if it has multiple employees.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. Edit company details (logo, address, payment terms, etc.).
  6. Set Auto-Approval Threshold to define approval limits.
  7. Click Save to confirm changes.

Step-by-Step

1. Open the Companies Page

Go to Company → Companies from the sidebar to view your list of existing customers.

2. Add a New Company

Click Add New Company and enter the company name.

  • If it’s a single-owner business, leave Is Enterprise unchecked.

  • If they have multiple employees, toggle Is Enterprise on.

    Click Submit to create the record.

3. Edit Company Details

Once the company is created, open it and click Edit in the Company Details section.

You can:

  • Add a company logo
  • Update the name or address
  • Choose Payment Type and Terms (Charge on Demand or Net Terms)

4. Configure Payment Terms

Select the customer’s billing arrangement:

  • Charge on Demand – pay per job

  • Account (Net Terms) – set Net 7, Net 15, or Net 30

    Click Save when finished.

5. Set Auto-Approval Threshold

Define the amount that can be approved automatically before needing customer confirmation.

Example:

  • Enter threshold → any request under that, is auto-approved.
  • Anything above requires manual approval from the customer.

6. Save and Finish

Click Save once all details are filled out. The customer is now active and ready for service orders.

It marks a company with multiple users or departments, rather than a single owner.

Yes, you can edit terms anytime in Company Details.

All work requests will require manual customer approval.

Can I delete a company?

Not directly if it has active service orders or invoices. Archive it instead.
