Accurate manufacturer information helps your shop maintain consistency across parts, avoid duplicates, and ensure every repair record reflects the right supplier or brand — saving time and preventing confusion during ordering or restocking.

Before you start

  • You must have Admin permissions.
  • Confirm whether the manufacturer already exists to prevent duplicates.

  1. Go to Parts & Inventory → Manufacturers.
  2. To add a new manufacturer, click + New Manufacturer.
  3. Enter the Name and click Submit.
  4. To edit or deactivate, click the three dots (…) next to a manufacturer.
  5. Change the Name or set Status = Inactive, then Save.

  1. Navigate to Parts & Inventory from the main menu.
  2. Select Manufacturers from the top navigation.
  3. To add a new one, click + New Manufacturer.
  4. Enter the Manufacturer Name in the provided field.
  5. Click Submit. The manufacturer now appears in your list.
  6. To edit or deactivate an existing one, click the three dots (⋯) next to its name.
  7. Choose Edit to rename or Set Inactive to hide from new parts.
  8. Click Save to commit your changes.
